Foot pounds of energy formula
Grain x Velocity (fps)x Velocity (fps) = FPE 450240
Example 18.13x 800 x 800 = 25.77 FPE 450240
1 Foot per second = 0.3048 meters per second
1 Bar = 14.5 psi
For every one degree Fahrenheit you raise your bottle temperature, the pressure will increase by 5 psi. So always get a long and slow fill

Why multiply the velocity twice? Is that muzzle velocity or POI velocity?

Why multiply the velocity twice? Is that muzzle velocity or POI velocity? I don't know you would have to ask a math guy. I am a gun guy. Sorry I can't give you a better answer

I wonder if one velocity is muzzle while the second is velocity on impact No it would give you a different FPE. I plugged the numbers into the pyramid airs sight and got the same numbers
